R U OK? Day 2025 at Sloanebuilt
At Sloanebuilt, we believe that looking after one another goes beyond the work we do in the workshop. It’s about making sure our people feel supported, valued, and cared for every single day. That's why we are proud to celebrate 'R U OK?' Day.
On Thursday, 11 September, our team came together to recognise R U OK? Day, an important reminder to check in with our mates, family, and colleagues. Because sometimes, a simple “Are you OK?” can make all the difference.
Thanks to our supplier and friends at Lelox, we enjoyed a BBQ lunch at our facility, plus cupcakes from Cupcakes in Camden and some prizes. It was a chance for the team to pause, share some good food, and connect across different departments. For many of our employees, it was a relaxed environment to talk openly and be reminded that conversations don’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.
For us, R U OK? Day isn’t just one date on the calendar. It’s about building a culture where it’s always okay to ask the question and to truly listen when someone needs support. We’re proud to be part of a workplace where wellbeing matters and where we look out for each other, both on and off the job.
At the end of the day, strong trailers are what we build, but strong people are who we stand by.
A big thank you to everyone who joined in, fired up the BBQ, and helped make the day a success. Most importantly, let’s keep the conversation going, not only on R U OK? Day, but every day.
A simple question. A powerful impact.
