INITIAL CONTACT
Starting from the very first time your call comes through to us, the team are actively taking notes on your requirements and the best course of action.
Our Sales Team will walk you through options and designs which match your desired application; detailing each of the benefits to each customisation.
Once you have a solid concept of what will best suit your business, our Sales Team will begin the process of engaging our Engineering Team.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Starting from a small factory in Camden in 1970s, Sloanebuilt quickly gained a reputation for manufacturing custom-built tipping bodies. The demand for their high-quality products led to a significant move in 2000 to a larger facility in Smeaton Grange, offering 1,665 cubic meters of factory space. From rigid bins and dog trailers to B-Doubles and Drop Deck Wideners, Sloanebuilt has always focused on meeting the specific needs of its customers.
ENGINEERING
With a solid concept in place, our engineers will create a 2D design file which details any
pre-existing trailers or prime movers to be considered, and from this render a 3D design file from this data.
The design will then be scrutinised by our most senior staff to ensure that they comply and will be up to withstanding the harsh Australian conditions.

MATERIAL SOURCING
Once the designs are finalised and receive full approval, the project transitions seamlessly to our Procurement Team. Their role is to meticulously source every component required for your new build, ensuring that no detail is overlooked—even down to the last bolt.
Leveraging our extensive on-site inventory, they can quickly allocate materials already in stock, streamlining the process and reducing lead times. For any additional or specialised items, they work closely with our network of trusted suppliers, expediting orders as needed to keep the project on schedule.
This thorough and efficient approach guarantees that all necessary materials arrive on time and meet our high standards for quality and reliability.
MANUFACTURING
Here is where your new build really starts to come to life; starting out simultaneously in our Steel and Aluminium sections, both the chassis and body begin to take shape.
The rolling build then moves into Fit Out to be kitted out with all the bells and whistles including your chosen suspension, tarps, gauges, electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and any other elected accessories you have requested.

PAINT AND PERSONALISATION
Your build is truly starting to take shape, reflecting your vision in every detail—but now it’s time to take it a step further. In the Paint section, your trailer transforms from a high-quality structure into a statement piece that embodies the personality and identity of your business. This is where branding meets craftsmanship.
Whether you opt for a sleek, professional finish or bold, eye-catching colors, our expert painters use precision techniques and premium coatings to ensure a flawless, long-lasting result. Custom logos, graphics, and company colors come to life, making your trailer instantly recognizable on the road.
Beyond aesthetics, our paint process also provides a critical layer of protection, shielding your build from harsh environmental elements, corrosion, and wear. With a combination of durability and visual impact, this finishing touch ensures your Sloanebuilt trailer not only performs exceptionally but also represents your brand with pride and professionalism for years to come.
HANDOVER
The day finally arrives where you can collect your new build. You will meet with the Sales Team who started the journey with you, to go through every detail of your build, incuding operational requirements, and instruction on equipment. When the final handover has been completed we snap some photos, and send you on your way with your newest addition to your fleet.

25 YEARS OF INNOVATIVE SUCCESS
In 2010, Sloanebuilt celebrated a significant milestone—25 years of leadership under the Marano family in the tipping body and trailer manufacturing industry. This milestone was marked by the grand opening of a new 1,620 cubic meter extension to their modern Hartley Road factory in Smeaton Grange, NSW. The event was inaugurated by Camden Mayor, Chris Patterson, and attended by over 200 clients, staff, and special guests. This celebration was not just a testament to the company's longevity but also to its ongoing commitment to innovation and quality.
MAKING A MARK ON MANUFACTURING
For over 35 years, Sloanebuilt has had remarkable growth due to its forward-thinking approach. The company's expansion into a new, purpose-built facility highlights its commitment to the future. This 9-acre facility, is the largest trailer manufacturing facility in Sydney and possibly New South Wales. It features over 36,000 square meters of hardstand area and 15,000 square meters under cover, with four drive-through bays, twin spray booths, a machine shop, a blast booth, a weighbridge, spare parts store, and modern offices. This investment has more than doubled the operation, positioning Sloanebuilt to continue servicing Sydney, and beyond well into the future.
