Welcome to Sloanebuilt, where tradition meets innovation – for leaders, by leaders. For over 35 years, we've been rooted in family values and driven by a passion for quality craftsmanship. Today, we continue to uphold these principles while leading the way in Australian trailer manufacturing.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. Founded in the 1970s by Ken Sloane and acquired in the mid-1980s by Fred and Helen Marano, Sloanebuilt has grown under visionary leadership. Despite our growth, we remain true to our origins, ensuring that every trailer we build reflects our family's commitment to quality and durability.

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Starting from a small factory in Camden in 1970s, Sloanebuilt quickly gained a reputation for manufacturing custom-built tipping bodies. The demand for their high-quality products led to a significant move in 2000 to a larger facility in Smeaton Grange, offering 1,665 cubic meters of factory space. From rigid bins and dog trailers to B-Doubles and Drop Deck Wideners, Sloanebuilt has always focused on meeting the specific needs of its customers.

25 YEARS OF INNOVATIVE SUCCESS

In 2010, Sloanebuilt celebrated a significant milestone—25 years of leadership under the Marano family in the tipping body and trailer manufacturing industry. This milestone was marked by the grand opening of a new 1,620 cubic meter extension to their modern Hartley Road factory in Smeaton Grange, NSW. The event was inaugurated by Camden Mayor, Chris Patterson, and attended by over 200 clients, staff, and special guests. This celebration was not just a testament to the company's longevity but also to its ongoing commitment to innovation and quality.

MAKING A MARK ON MANUFACTURING

For over 35 years, Sloanebuilt has had remarkable growth due to its forward-thinking approach. The company's expansion into a new, purpose-built facility highlights its commitment to the future. This 9-acre facility, is the largest trailer manufacturing facility in Sydney and possibly New South Wales. It features over 36,000 square meters of hardstand area and 15,000 square meters under cover, with four drive-through bays, twin spray booths, a machine shop, a blast booth, a weighbridge, spare parts store, and modern offices. This investment has more than doubled the operation, positioning Sloanebuilt to continue servicing Sydney, and beyond well into the future.
