Confidence is Key

The launch of a new five-axle truck and dog combination reflects TriHaul’s ongoing trust in BPW Transpec, its preferred supplier of axle and suspension components.

Based in New South Wales, TriHaul is a family business run by two brothers, Anthony and Nick Tripodi, who together possess almost 30 years of experience in transport and logistics. The company itself specialises in the supply and delivery of quarried materials and bulk throughout the state with a very accommodating offering. As the duo often tell clients, no project is too big, and no project is too small.

“The idea for TriHaul started with a conversation between my brother and I about whether we were ready to commit to the challenges that come with starting a business – the early mornings, late finishes and giving up our days off to maintain, repair, and wash vehicles,” Anthony says. “We decided to take the opportunity and fully commit to building something of our own. “We’re extremely pleased with how quickly the business has grown. In this industry, you need to be prepared to take opportunities when they arise.”

TriHaul was officially founded in 2025 after Anthony and Nick departed from Tripodi Transport to take the chance. Thanks to the family business, Anthony says he and his brother were able to learn everything about transport and gain more than 25 years of experience before starting something together. “After many years of learning the industry from the ground up, we felt the time was right to build a business of our own,” he says. “So, we took everything we had developed – our knowledge, industry relationships and passion for transport – and started TriHaul. “TriHaul was established with the vision of creating a strong, family-focused company that we could be proud of. We also wanted to build a foundation that could hopefully be passed on to future generations.” The business has grown ever since. Its operation now includes trucks, with two vehicles on order and scheduled for delivery in early December.

The latest addition to the TriHaul fleet was a Sloanebuilt Performance-Based Standards (PBS) five-axle dog. Featuring BPW disc brake axles and suspension systems, it complements a whole fleet fitted with products from the trusted components supplier. “We specifically chose BPW products for this build,” Anthony says. “Our entire fleet is fitted with BPW components, and that allows us to maintain consistency across our operation. Having the same reliable systems throughout the fleet simplifies maintenance, improves efficiency and gives us confidence in the reliability of our equipment.”

TriHaul’s new five-axle dog combination was built to PBS specifications with a Gross Combination Mass (GCM) of 63.5 tonnes and a 19.5-tonne tare weight, resulting in a 44-tonne payload. It is now being used to service a range of civil construction projects in NSW, transporting and supplying material from quarries to concrete yards while also servicing the fleet’s Wilton sand and soil yard.

Anthony says the unit has performed exceptionally well in these applications due to the BPW disc brake axles and suspension systems fitted. “We have experienced no issues with the BPW components and have therefore been very happy with their reliability and performance,” he says. “The key benefits are their lightweight design, durability and ease of maintenance. They provide a reliable solution that helps keep our operation running efficiently.”

According to Anthony, this latest application arrived on the back of a preexisting relationship with Sloanebuilt. The fleet’s ability to spec BPW components as required also gave it the confidence that it would perform as needed. “The decision came down to three key factors – reliability, outstanding service and the exceptional people behind the product,” he says. “Every combination is manufactured by a team that genuinely takes pride in delivering a quality product for operators. “From the initial specification process through to final delivery, every detail is carefully considered and built with purpose. That’s why we value working with suppliers who understand our business and share our commitment to quality.”

Partners like BPW Transpec have therefore been integral to the day-to-day operation of TriHaul. Anthony and his brother chose the OEM as their preferred supplier for axles and suspensions when they first set out together, and they haven’t looked back since. “We have been using BPW products throughout the two years that TriHaul has been operating,” Anthony says. “BPW Transpec has been excellent to work with. Their reliability, product quality and ongoing support have made them a highly recommended supplier in our operation.” This has served the business well by ensuring its fleet is constantly performing throughout various operating conditions. “BPW products have provided exceptional benefits when it comes to reliability and maintenance,” Anthony
says. “Having dependable equipment is critical in our industry, and BPW Transpec
has helped us maintain an efficient and reliable fleet. “It has been a great partnership. The
relationship is built on trust, reliability and a shared commitment to delivering quality
outcomes, and we see a long future ahead working together.”
