April had us seeing double at Sloanebuilt, with a pair of new A-Doubles going out to their new homes along with a pair of new ACCO’s heading up to Queensland for delivery. Select Quarry Materials - PBS A-Double
Our incredible friends at Select Quarry Materials have upped the ante with their first foray into the PBS A-Double world today. Their new Sloanebuilt tandem combination will bring home a 52 tonne payload each trip, every trip, dramatically increasing productivity for their business.

MDH Haulage - PBS A-Double
Congratulations to our mates at MDH Haulage Gunnedah with the handover of their new Sloanebuilt PBS A-Double today. Lots of PPG applied to keep it looking immaculate with the many and varied products they’ll be carting. The custom Air Tarps system eliminates the need for climbing up to do the rear flap and some new lights and guards on the Star keeps #1 (aka Mal the operator) happy! Big thanks to Darlene, Mark and the whole MDH crew for their support over the years.

BKW Electrical and Earthworks - Tri-Axle Tag Trailer
Blake from BKW Electrical & Earthworks came to see us a while ago for some tail light modifications to his existing truck. A few conversations later and he’s just put his new Sloanebuilt triaxle tag trailer to work. From little things, big things grow!
Blake needed an ultra-versatile trailer so we fitted a 200l diesel tank and transfer pump with refueling reel; front hydraulic ramps and leg; Bisalloy deck and hammer well; airbag suspension with Air Brake Systems EBS + Roll Stability; two large custom toolboxes and some scrollwork by Dennis at Signs Lines 'n Scrolls. Big thanks to Blake for his support.
BOM Building Supplies - Chassis Extension
B.O.M Building Supplies commissioned us to extend the chassis on this Scania G440 and build a new tray to suit their requirements. We had the ESC recalibrated to suit the new wheelbase and fabricated a Bartlett ball towbar as well. Two large custom toolboxes and track mounted winches complete this versatile build for Jessie and his team.
Buchanan - TOA
This month saw our friends the Buchanan’s picking up their new Sloanebuilt TOA from us, ready for work. The PPG painted side sheets will protect it from stains and new matching arched guards fitted to the existing prime mover set the whole lot off. Big thanks to Ian, John and the extended Buchanan family for choosing Sloanebuilt for their new trailer.
Veljohn - Aluminium Rigid Body
This new Sloanebuilt aluminium setup for our friend Daniel at Veljohn is rock-sheeted and features a waterproof George's Canvas tarp, yet it still muscles up with a massive 14.7 tonne payload “Lenny the Kenny” is named in honour of Daniels infant son and Alana got the scoop on the merch pack during today’s handover. Big thanks to Daniel, John and the whole #Veljohn team for letting us build this awesome little machine.
TJB - Rigid Body and Quad Dog
What other quad dog combo gives you a 41 tonne payload at 19m? Well, Tristan from TJB in Newcastle decided tear up the rule book and commission this new Sloanebuilt Trailers combination to show what can be done. He said I want an alloy extravaganza - alloy dolly, alloy hangers, Hendrickson lightweight axles and hubs and combined with the punch from the KENWORTH T410, he’s made a 41t payload a reality. And he’s done it in complete style - you need an hour to take in all the stunning detail. We went to town with PPG 2-pack metallic on the bins and tanks on the truck before he continued on with locally applied artwork to cap it off. It’s a testament to Tristan and his vision and we are honoured to be part of this journey.
Peter Kane - Drop Deck Widener
It’s always a pleasure handing over a new Sloanebuilt drop deck widener to a new customer. Peter Kane and his partner Rachelle collected their new unit this morning that features BPW heavy duty airbag suspension and axles; Armoury chrome wheels; Heavy Hydraulics Honda power pack; 3-way container pins; custom alloy gates and toolboxes. Signs Lines 'n Scrolls worked their magic on top of the PPG paintwork and all together this versatile, strong deck widener will look after Pete for years to come. We thank the Kane family for their business.

Hinton Transport - B-Train
A tidier Kenworth K104 is going to be a tough ask to find, and Adam Hinton’s definitely does his new Sloanebuilt BTrain proud. Some neat touches that Adam specified include tailgates painted in matching PPG 2-pack metallic; Armoury chrome wheels, and side sheets that are clear wrapped to preserve that shine. Big thanks to Adam for joining the Sloanebuilt family and congratulations to SBT team member Tim Watters on his first end-to-end delivery!
B-Train
It’s great to see another Sloanebuilt BTrain ready for delivery. This combo features lots of PPG 2-Pack paint to the side sheets, front sheets and tailgates for the ultimate in long-term appearance. All the usual SBT quality component inclusions are there - Alcoa Wheels, Hendrickson axles and suspension; WABCO EBS from Air Brake Systems; Truckmate guards etc. Heading to Victoria!
