This year’s AgQuip field days were held over the 22nd to 24th of August in Gunnedah, NSW. AgQuip has been running since 1973 and attracts over 100,000 visitors each year over the three-day period. It plays a vital role in connecting manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of agricultural and associated products and services all in one central location.
As guests of our Northern NSW and Queensland distributor, Clarke Equipment, Sloanebuilt showcased its newest product, the widening step-deck, alongside Australia’s first Kenworth T610 10-wheeler tipper and a 19m B-Double combination. All products drew strong interest and reflected the broad product portfolio of Sloanebuilt along with giving the crowds the opportunity to ideas for their businesses with our two representatives Scott Winter and Bennett Haberbusch.
Another drawcard was the Sloanebuilt W-Model Kenworth, proudly showcasing our refurbishment and painting abilities which are another side of the business growing in popularity. Our team of spray painters, body builders, electricians and mechanics work together to give customers the opportunity to customise their trucks with anything from a colour change to a full restoration.
The weather was magnificent across the week and it is exciting to see the potential for farmers in the region to have a great harvest this year, Mother Nature permitting of course. Clarke Equipment had another successful year showcasing their Bunning, Marshall and Millcreek Spreaders with strong interest and many sales coming for a busy three days. We all look forward to AgQuip 2018 and hope to see you there!
