Sloanebuilt Celebrates 25 Years
Smeaton Grange's Sloanebuilt Trailers has celebrated its 25th year in business with a $5 million extension to its Hartley Road premises. More than 200 clients, staff and special guests joined business owners Fred and Helen Marano for the official opening of the new extension last week.
Double Time - Organic Business Growth
In the 25 years that they have owned Sloanebuilt Trailers, Fred Marano says that he and his family have never set any hard and fast targets for growth of turnover each year. He insists there has been "no ego driven desire to get bigger" or even signifiant advertising - they simply decided to let the engineering and quality of product speak for themselves, and allow the business to gain momentum 'organically'.
One Step Ahead - The Low Rider
For more than a quarter of a century, Sydney's Sloanebuilt Trailers has been earning a reputation for industry-leading innovations. The latest groundbreaking product from the Sloanebuilt stables is the Low Rider series of three and four axle dogs.
Keeping Trade Talent in the Family
A family-run business in Smeaton Grange has produced one of the best automotive apprentices in the state. Tim Marano, 23, took out the body-maker apprentice category of the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Authority Awards - and his father Fred could not be more proud.
