The Steel & Aluminum Fabrication teams, are at the forefront of craftsmanship in metal. Working with a variety of materials and techniques, they fabricate structural components and assemblies for our trailers. Their dedication to quality and precision gives us our reputation for excellence in the industry.

Fit-Out

In our Fit-Out department, attention to detail is key. This team are responsible for adding the final touches to our trailers, ensuring they are customized to meet the specific needs of our customers. From interior fittings to specialized features, they work closely with our design and production teams to install and assemble components that enhance functionality and usability. Machine Shop

Repairs & Service

Our Repairs & Service department are trusted experts in vehicle maintenance. Paint & Panel

In the Paint & Panel department, precision is paramount. Spare Parts

INTERVIEW AND DEPARTMENT DEPENDANT ASSESSMENT

Once your application has passed an internal review, and if you meet the requirements for the role you will receive a call from our team to schedule an interview. In this interview, you will meet a HR representative from Sloanebuilt and during this interview, you may be requested to complete a department-dependent assessment to test your proficiency in this role highlighting your technical capabilities and communication skills. Once we’ve evaluated your interview, you may be invited to additional interviews with Sloanebuilt management.

FINAL DECISION

Successful candidates will be contacted by our team and you will receive an official offer to join Team Sloanebuilt.

SLOANEBUILT ONBOARDING

Prior to your start date, our HR Team will be in frequent communication with you. On your first day, you'll receive a warm welcome from your new team and receive guidance from your team leader to help you seamlessly integrate into our operations and gain a clear understanding of your role.

At Sloanebuilt, we believe in nurturing talent and fostering the growth of aspiring young talent into the manufacturing industry. Our comprehensive apprenticeship program is designed to provide hands-on experience, industry-specific training, and mentorship to individuals seeking to kickstart their careers in welding, fabrication, engineering, spray painting and panel beating.

Program Components

1. Structured Training Modules: Apprentices will undergo a structured training curriculum covering essential skills and techniques specific to their chosen trade. This includes theoretical knowledge and practical application in a real-world manufacturing environment.

2. On-the-Job Experience: Apprentices will work alongside experienced tradesmen, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of production, assembly, and quality control processes.

3. Mentorship and Guidance: Each apprentice will be part of a dedicated team who will provide personalized guidance, support, and feedback throughout the program, ensuring continuous learning and skill development.

4. Safety Training: Safety is paramount at Sloanebuilt. Apprentices will receive comprehensive safety training to adhere to industry standards and best practices, promoting a culture of workplace safety and responsibility.

5. Technical Skills Development: Apprentices will have the opportunity to develop technical skills through specialized on the job training, seminars and programs to enhance their proficiency in their respective trades.
