The Press Brake (AKA. The Big Show)

At Sloanebuilt, we are able to press steel and aluminium as needed thanks to our onsite monster LVD Press Brake machine. Lovingly named “The Big Show” and weighing in at 170 tonnes, we are able to press metals with a force of up to 1,000 tonnes on the largest press machine in the Southern Hemisphere. This machine is the global choice for heavy bending and pressing thanks to its accuracy and first class finished product. The European manufacturers have created a system that allows us to operate in multiple modes and synchronized configurations. This allows us to ensure we are maintaining optimized "Art to Part" times and maximum productivity with the help of touch screen controls, and 2D and 3D graphic material handling sequences to remain as efficient as possible to get your Australian made custom trailer rolling out of our factory in minimal time. Our skilled team have been meticulously trained in the use of the machine and the software to ensure we are providing our customers with the best finishes possible.

 
Thanks to it's versatility, our press brake machine does not limit us to only bending or pressing for trailers, we are also able to service a number of other industries requiring pressed steel or aluminium including construction and building supplies, mining, farming and aerospace.
