CCAA Awards Night 2017By: Sloanebuilt Trailers CCAA Awards Night 2017 Sloanebuilt Trailers attended the NSW Construction Materials Industry Dinner at Rosehill Gardens on the evening of Friday, September 1, 2017. As proud sponsors of the Cement, Concrete and Aggregates Australia group, Sloanebuilt was delighted to showcase some of their latest innovative Performance Based Standards combinations on the night, including an A-Double, a truck and quad-dog and 6-wheeler tipper. CCAA’s 2017 NSW Innovation Awards were also presented on the night. This is the 39th occasion that awards of this type were presented in NSW, recognising innovation in environmental management, health and safety performance and for the first time, exceptional community leadership. Invited guests included representatives of member companies, key suppliers to the construction materials industry and government agency officials with the Honourable Melinda Pavey, Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight the keynote speaker on the evening. Special thanks go to Ken and Inga McClelland of KIM Haulage for allowing us to showcase one of their innovative, high productivity A-Double combinations on the night and also attending the function with us. A great night was had again and we look forward to continuing our support of the CCAA into 2018 and beyond.
