From a productivity perspective, the tri-axled Sloanebuilt B-double enables Alan to run at an overal length of 25 metres. The front bin remains at a height of 1.987 metres with a length of 10.6 metres (35ft), and the rear bin is just under 6.7 metres in length (22ft) but has a height of 2.133 metres.

The latest Sloanebuilt trailer is very high spec' and includes roll stability and anti-lock braking. The lead axle on the B-Trailer is a lift up unit, and this can be controlled either automatically or over-ridden manually with the WABCO Smartboard control system in order to have the axle on the road before loading.
