Parts Interpreter

Sloanebuilt Trailers are leading manufacturers of frontline tipping bodies and trailers and are located in Smeaton Grange, South West Sydney neighbouring Macarthur, in one of Australia's largest growing industrial estates.

Sloanebuilt have a state of the art factory facility incorporating double pulse welders, spray booth with mixing room, water-jet cutting machine, wash bay and grit blasting facilities.

We are seeking a skilled Parts Interpreter for full time employment with a background in the manufacturing and repair industry.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, applicants must:

  • Be willing to work a 38 hour week plus limited overtime as required.
  • Have 5 years work experience in a similar role.
  • Self motivated and able to work independently as required.

    The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Parts interpretation and the effective management of the sales process in a timely manner.
  • Experience in servicing heavy equipment and troubleshooting faults as part of the parts sale process.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly run sheets.
  • Effective communication of customer feedback to improve stock and service level.
  • Inform Sloanebuilt Manager of any information on Market, Pricing or Product that may affect sales.
  • Ability to monitoring inventory supplies with relation to customers requirement
  • Share equal responsibility in increasing business productivity by showing initiative and communicating effectively.
  • Assist in delivery and maintenance of the warehouse stock level to maintain van and production stock levels.
  • Assist in local representation to improve customer relations and service for all Sloanebuilt product.


    • The candidate

  • The successful candidate must be someone who prides themselves in producing high quality work with good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude.
  • They must be capable of multitasking, organising tasks and can work unsupervised.
